Types of Creatine

Creatine Monohydrate: This is the original creatine supplement. It is in its’ simplest form. A loading phase is typically recommended of about 15-20 grams/day for 5-7 days to saturated your muscles, and 5 grams/day there after. Sugar is also recommended to take with this form to enhance absorption.

Creatine Ethyl Ester: This form of creatine has a higher absorption rate, requiring no loading phase or sugar to enhance absorbability, and about 2.5-3 grams/day to keep muscles saturated. Will not cause the bloat some users get from monohydrate.

Tri-Creatine Malate: Tri-creatine malate is a compound made from creatine monohydrate and malic acid. It’s made from three creatine molecules attached to one molecule of malic acid.
