There are many weight lifting supplement scams out there with fake studies, flawed studies, or no studies at all. There are not enough regulations out there for companies products to be tested to back up their claims. These ridiculous claims also lead to false advertising, having too many flaws in their facts.

To show you what I mean, there is a claim from the notorious Muscletech. Sorry to burst anyones bubble that believes this, but the only human beings that have the possibility of doing this is a newbie on steroids. Do not become a victim of this crap!
Marketing makes weight lifting supplements good these days, not the supplement itself. This is a prime example of that statement.
